Researcher

Richard Jonathan O. Taduran, Ph.D., is a prolific researcher in forensic science, biological anthropology, and the biocultural study of human variation. His body of work includes peer-reviewed articles in international journals such as HOMO: Journal of Comparative Human Biology, Australian Journal of Forensic Sciences, and University of Oxford's Journal of Public Health. These studies explore diverse topics—from sex estimation using fingerprints and teeth, to cultural perceptions of height, to complex systems in human development. His research on Filipino populations has contributed original datasets and methodologies for forensic identification.

Taduran has also authored book chapters on dental and craniofacial traits, COVID-19 fieldwork, and anthropological case studies, published by institutions such as the University of Adelaide Press and UST Publishing House. Grounded in interdisciplinary thinking, his work bridges empirical analysis and cultural insight—aiming to advance scientific standards while remaining locally relevant.
